Legal notice (Terms of Use)

Last updated: 30 August 2026

1. Who we are

ChatForge is a Chrome extension that organizes chats and prompts across ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Grok. It is operated by an individual developer (“we”). It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, xAI, or their products.

2. The product

ChatForge stores your folders, saved chats, prompts, and History in this browser (see the Privacy Policy). The Free plan is limited (5 folders; History shows the last 50 opened conversations). Pro removes those limits. Saved chats, folders, and prompts are not deleted when you stay on Free.

Features listed as “planned” in the extension (full-text search, cost tracking, export) are not included yet.

3. Your responsibilities

4. Payments

Paid plans are $7 per month or $49 lifetime (USD), sold through ExtensionPay and Stripe.

If payment fails, Stripe may retry and email you. If the subscription ends, Pro features turn off; your saved data stays.

5. Refunds and EU consumer rights

If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA/UK, you may have statutory rights we cannot override (including rules on digital content and withdrawal). Those rights apply in addition to this notice.

For a goodwill refund or a billing error, email robert.liberski.1993@gmail.com with the email you used at checkout. Card refunds, if we agree, go through Stripe.

6. Acceptable use

Do not abuse checkout, scrape ExtensionPay, interfere with other users, or reverse-engineer the extension to steal paid status. ChatForge cannot fully stop a determined local bypass (the code runs on your machine). Paid status on our payment provider is still the legitimate way to unlock Pro.

7. No warranty

ChatForge is provided “as is”. LLM websites change their pages often. Selectors can break; the icon or Save may fail until we ship a fix. We do not warrant uninterrupted service, that titles will always be correct, or that the extension will keep working on every future redesign of ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or Grok.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost chats, lost work, or indirect damages. Our total liability for a paid period is limited to the amount you paid us for that period (or the lifetime price if you bought lifetime).

This does not limit liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (for example, intent or certain consumer protections).

8. Privacy

How data is stored and who sees payment data is in the Privacy Policy.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top will change. Continued use after an update means you accept the new terms, except where the law requires extra consent. Material changes to paid terms will be announced where we reasonably can (listing or email from Stripe).

10. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Poland, without affecting mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence. Courts in Poland have jurisdiction, unless mandatory law gives you the right to sue where you live.
